In May 2022, the Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority (“MIRA”) submitted a Closure Plan to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (“DEEP”) for its Hartford Waste–to-Energy Facility.  In October, 2022, DEEP requested additional information from MIRA, included in which was a letter from the Greater Hartford Flood Commission.  See links below for more information:
