MIRA statement regarding police activity at CSWS Resource Recovery Facility (6/4/19)

The Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority ("MIRA") receives municipal solid waste from the City of Hartford and other communities via contract at the Connecticut Solid Waste System Resource Recovery Facility (“CSWS RRF”) in Hartford, Connecticut.  MIRA is currently cooperating with the Connecticut State Police regarding their need to investigate solid waste delivered to the CSWS RRF.

Given that this is an ongoing police investigation, any requests for further comment should be directed to the Connecticut State Police.
